Terms of Service
Last updated July 5, 2026
These terms govern your use of SiloKeep, a product of Life Strategy OS, LLC ("we", "us"). By using SiloKeep you agree to them.
The service
SiloKeep is a local-first coordination tool for small groups. The app is free to use on your own device, with no account or card required. Encrypted sync across your group's devices asks for a flat, once-a-year payment ($20 per group, not per person) — one payment covers everyone in the group.
How the payment works
There is no payment processor and no subscription service: you (or anyone in your group) send the payment directly via Venmo, and include your group's ID — shown in-app under Roster → Encrypted sync — in the payment note. We mark it received by hand, usually within a day or two, not instantly. A payment covers encrypted sync for one year from when it's marked received; nothing renews automatically, and there's no card on file to charge again. If a payment lapses, sync pauses after a short grace period, but the data on your own devices is never affected or deleted. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
Your data, your responsibility
Because SiloKeep is end-to-end encrypted, we hold no readable copy of your data and no ability to reset access. Your recovery phrase (and any passkeys) are the only way into your account. If you lose them and every signed-in device, your data cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. A lapsed payment pauses sync but never deletes the data on your devices.
Acceptable use
Don't use SiloKeep to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attack the service (including probing, overloading, or attempting to disrupt the relay). We may suspend sync for groups that abuse the service's infrastructure. We cannot moderate encrypted content — by design — and we are not responsible for what groups share among themselves.
Disclaimers & liability
SiloKeep is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Sync may occasionally be interrupted; the app is built to keep working offline and catch up. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss — please keep your recovery phrase safe.
Changes & termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continued use constitutes acceptance. You can stop using the service at any time. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice, in which case any recent payment not yet used is refunded pro-rata — and because your data lives on your devices, discontinuation never takes it from you.
Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA. Questions: support@silokeep.com.
